Hammersmith and Fulham
Running along the Thames west of the city centre, Hammersmith and Fulham, a once overlooked borough in the great scheme of things - predominantly the affluent areas of the east - is now a trendy and well established borough with tall property prices. Much of the borough is Victorian.

Fulham is predominantly small two and three storey Victorian houses, while West Kensington, to the north offers more eye catching rendered white terraces. Hammersmith is known for its office blocks and shops, and Shepherds Bush and Ravenscourt Park are back on the Victorian thing with their semis and terraces

Kensington
Known as London's most desirable borough, Kensington is awash with museums, galleries, boutiques, fashionable restaurants, great transport links, beautiful parks, and some stunning properties to live in. It has a couple of things going against it, such as highly inflated prices and traffic problems, but if you have money, the excellent public transport negates the need for a car anyway.

South Kensington, Kensington, Sloane Square, and nearby Chelsea are all exclusive areas, while the once run down western Kensington is really taking off. Nearby Notting Hill is also in this taking off phase and even areas of North Kensington are following suit.

Westminster
Westminster is the epitome of London and has some of the most exclusive and sought after property in the world. The borough of Westminster encompasses some world class attractions such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and the number one residence of them all, Buckingham Palace.

The area is awash with fashionable boutiques, upmarket shopping malls, world class restaurants, museums, galleries and thousands of tourists. Affluent neighbourhoods for the rich and famous include Belgravia, Pimlico, and Mayfair, and lush Hyde Park is never far away.
